Academic Research Support
Residents and faculty affiliated with our Mercy Health – St. Vincent Medical Center sponsored residency programs have the opportunity to work with our full-time Academic Research Coordinators, Julie Stausmire, MSN, RN, ACNS-BC and Victoria Calderon, MPH. Their primary responsibility is to facilitate the development, implementation and successful completion of resident related research projects and scholarly activities. This includes assistance with protocol development, Institutional Review Board (IRB) submission documents, data management and final reports. They are also available to assist with manuscript preparation and poster development.
Academic Affairs also contracts with an independent biostatistician for research consultation related to statistical design to assist during the protocol development process, data analysis as well as manuscript preparation.
Academic Affairs is committed to providing the resources necessary to support your scholarly activity and research development.
