Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center, established in 1855, is the critical care regional referral center within the Mercy system, a six hospital faith-based system serving northwest Ohio and southeast Michigan. St. Vincent is home to five Life Flight air ambulances, holds the highest designation for treating high risk mothers & babies, and is a Level I Trauma Center for children & adults. - A 16-bed Pediatric Intensive Care Unit with long-term seizure monitoring
- A 30-bed Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) with a perinatal center. Level III is the highest designation awarded by the Ohio Department of Health to hospitals that provide care for high-risk newborns.
- A 26-bed general pediatric unit
- A Level I Trauma Center for adults and children, the highest designation awarded by the American College of Surgeons
